NEW FIRE PIT AREA FOR ROASTING THOSE HOT DOGS OR S'MORES OR JUST ENJOYING AN OUTDOOR FIRE!

The flag stone patio was probably originally constructed in the early 1930's.  The area was covered with dirt and other trash and was recently uncovered and restored. An old falling down outside fireplace was removed and replaced by the brick fire pit. A low stone retaining wall and a place to sit by the fire ring was added. A table will be added to the old wheel axle that is in the middle of the patio area and some plants and flowers will be planted behind the low  wall. This fire pit area is available for guests from any of the four rentals to use.

"September 25, 2011 - We had a great time. The tempature this weekend couldn't be better. We went canoeing Saturday with M & M Canoeing they picked us up on time and were waiting for us when we returned. The cabin was clean and comfey, everything worked fine. Beautiful scenery. We loved the balcony. We could sit on the balcony and watch the guys throw horseshoes. The entire weekend was quiet and peaceful. On Friday night we started a fire at the firepit. I loved the little cabinet with the smore forks. While sitting at the fire you could hear the falls. It was just wonderful. We defenitly will return."     S. & K. Memphis, D., C., J., C., J. "10/9 - 10/12  Great Place! Fished Dam #3 at the Hatchery  and caught eleven 12" and under Rainbows on Friday. Second day caught 30 plus Rainbows at Dam #3, lost two nice 2 - 3 lbs. Walked down to the river here before dinner and caught and a shiner. Third day caught 22 trout, landed a nice 3 lber and a couple of 2 - 3 lbs. We had a great visit and super fishing luck.
